Arianne Campbell is the mother of a 10 year old boy who was born at 25 weeks gestation. Her son's birth introduced her to the understanding of micro-preemies, babies born before roughly the 26th-28th week of pregnancy or weighing less than 1 pound, 12 ounces (800 grams) at birth. She's also the founder of Colin's Crusaders, a website to provide information on various social media platforms that can allow parents of micro-preemies to connect and exchange ideas, provide support and learn about all possibilities available for their micro-preemies in Southern California. She is currently working towards obtaining a Masters in Disabilities Studies from City University of New York and hopes to offer services as an advocate to parents with children that have disabilities.
