Have a little one who wants to help out with a big holiday meal? These easy but impressive Fantan rolls are the perfect dinner party project for budding bakers. You can even save time by starting with store-bought pizza dough!

Focaccia Fantan Rolls

Makes 12 rolls Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Total time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb homemade or store bought pizza dough
  • olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp oregano

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to a 10x12 inch rectangle.
  3. Slice dough into 8 12-inch strips.
  4. Make two stacks of 4 strips each.
  5. Cut each stack into 12 squares.
  6. Line a 12 cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  7. Place one dough square stack in each muffin cup.
  8. In a small bowl, mix together the egg, parmesan, salt and oregano.
  9. Brush generously over each roll.
  10. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes or until the rolls puff up and the tops are glossy and golden brown.
